#6 read at least 20 books outside of school (1/20)

This was the first book I decided to read, & it was so insightful! This book really made me think about things to keep in mind as I end the YSA dating world in a little over 6 months. I highly recommend it!

#82 Get my drivers license

You'd think living in a country (Japan) where you can't get your drivers license until you're 18 would be hard. But it's even more frustrating moving to a state where if you're under the age of 18, you have to wait one year from the time you get your permit to get your license AND you've just turned 16. But the wait was certainly worth it and after 1 year, 1 month and 2 days of waiting, I was finally able to get my drivers license!!

Here's a throwback from the time I got my learner's permit to when I got my driver's license!

#70 Go to a high school football game at my HS

One of my favorite times about starting a new school year at Yokota was going to football games. So when I moved Naples last year, I thought going to football games at my new high school would only add on to the home sickness I was already feeling. But I decided to not be anti-social my senior year and go to more school events, including football games. Now I can definitely say that I've been to a real American football game and I have a little more school spirit! And I'm so glad I got to go with the lovely ladies below. :)

#32 Find and make 30 new homemade recipes, while adding them to a recipe book (02/30)

I'm really excited about learning a new recipe! This time, I made homemade soft pretzels! And for messing up parts of the recipe, they turned out so good!

These are what they looked like before they went in the oven....

...and these are what they looked like after they came out of the oven!

I know. They look really ugly. But I promise, they taste a lot better than they look!

Here's the one that turned out the best though!

Here's the recipe I used: http://www.cookingclassy.com/2012/08/auntie-annes-pretzels-copycat-recipe/

Can't wait to make these again!

#9 Go to the temple at least 5 times (1/5)

Okay, have I mentioned how much I love living in Florida? No? It won't be the last time you hear me say this, but I really love living here! It's hot, sunny 95%of the time, and the beaches are beautiful! It's pretty much paradise living in Naples, Florida. Now, when you put the beauty of an LDS temple and the Florida sunshine together, it's seriously the most beautiful thing ever! I had an amazing opportunity to go up to Orlando, FL this weekend to do some pretty important work at the temple, where I was able to feel so at peace and feel the love my Savior has for me, while being with the amazing youth that I go to church time!

Here's a picture of the Orlando, FL LDS temple!

& here's a picture of myself and one of my really good friends, Brittany!

Despite getting a flat tire on the interstate on our way home, we had such a fantastic time in Orlando and enjoyed each others company. Can't wait for the next trip in 6 months!

#67 See a community theater production

I am really excited about getting this one checked off! One of my really good friends who is working the lights for the adult community theater production of Les Miserables this summer was able to get my mom and I tickets to see the show (thanks Katie!). It was at a really nice theater in downtown Naples called Sugden Community Theater, and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen! (Besides POTO in NY. Nothing beats broadway in NY.) I may or may not have teared up a little at the end.... Definitely looking forward to seeing another production there hopefully sometime before I graduate!

Here is a little collage of our night!

#32 Find and make 30 new homemade recipes, while adding them to a recipe book (1/30)

So I was feeling kind of bored Friday morning, and I was really hungry, so I decided to find something to make! After looking through my Pinterest boards for half an hour trying to decide on something to make, I finally decided on Apple Cnnamon Quinoa Bites. Not the best tasting, but really  filling and super healthy! Check out this link to get the recipe: http://www.andtheycookedhappilyeverafter.com/2013/01/07/apple-cinnamon-quinoa-bites-for-breakfast/

And here's a collage of the making of this recipe! Enjoy!

#99, Inspire someone else to do the 99 in 999 challenge

So glad to have one crossed off so soon! It's a fairly simple item, but I think it's huge that I've inspired someone else to do this challenge (not to mention she's already inspired someone else to do this challenge already!). One of my best friends, Makenzi, has decided to do this challenge as well and she already has her blog up and running! She's so awesome and I can't wait to see her progress during this challenge! Good luck, Kenz!

Oh, and here's her blog if you want to check out her list! makenzis99in999.blogspot.com

Hurray for finishing my first goal! One down, 98 to go!
